A Douglas C 47 Skytrain sits at an air museum in Northern Queensland. A veteran of the air war in New Guinea during WWII, this P 39 was used to shoot down two Japanese aircraft. Recovered from a field in Queensland it is now in the collection of an air museum in the region.
